The Americas Society awarded the Gold Medal, the highest award given by this society to business leaders, to the president and CEO of Grupo Coppel, Agustín Coppel Luken.
She received the award at the Spring Party 2024 organized by the Americas Society on June 11 in New York.
Coppel Luken was recognized for his distinguished career, which positions him as one of the most important leaders in the Mexican private sector. He was awarded for his achievements in inclusion, his conviction regarding the importance of sustainability, and his active philanthropic involvement—areas that demonstrate his commitment to corporate social responsibility, freedoms, democracy, and fostering a strong relationship between Mexico and the United States.
